Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) in Roanoke, Alabama, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide adult/geriatric OT services and support daily living activities under OT supervision.

You’ll work with a collaborative team to improve independence, mobility and safety, delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a supportive setting with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT to improve functional independence and safety.
• Implement patient-centered treatment plans focusing on ADLs, strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques.
• Help patients perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support outcomes and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor progress to adjust plans as needed.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or license eligible in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy
• Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults
