Education & Experience:

Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in clinical documentation, internet navigation skills.

Certificates & Licenses:

Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, maintaining positive interactions with patients and facilities, adhering to all regulations, and ensuring quality care.

Essential Duties:
  • Optimize patients' functional abilities under supervision
  • Build and develop the occupational therapy assistant program
  • Enhance clinical and management skills through ongoing education
  • Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on relevant issues
  • Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery modes
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively in English
