Heritage Park Rehabilitation in Roy, UT is seeking a PRN or Part Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. Work with a stable team dedicated to geriatric care and post-acute rehabilitation in a facility focused on recovery and well-being.

The OTA must be a graduate of an accredited program, hold state licensure if required, and bring flexibility to a post-acute care setting. We welcome all levels of experience and offer a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices as directed.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising OT to adjust treatments as required.
• Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Heritage Park Rehabilitation in Roy, UT, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN or Part Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
