Responsibilities

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Summary: Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, maintaining positive interactions with patients and facilities, adhering to professional standards and regulations. Deliver quality patient care, supervise Rehab Techs when required, and manage cases effectively.

Essential Duties:

• Optimize patients' functional abilities under OT supervision
• Develop and strengthen the occupational therapy assistant program
• Enhance skills through interaction, self-study, and continuing education
• Maintain valid state license and stay informed on relevant issues
• Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery methods
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively in English
