Paradigm Healthcare in Pasadena, TX is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab team. You will work under an OT to plan and administer treatments for residents with short- or long-term disabilities, aiming to relieve pain and improve function.

New grads welcome; in-house program emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care. Requirements include an active Texas license as an OTA or COTA, and SNF/long-term care experience is preferred.

Formación

• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current treatment practices.
• Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities.
• Active/valid Texas license as Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Responsabilidades

• Plan and administer treatment to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT.
• Relay information and referrals to an OT as needed.
• Ensure treatment delivered per established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions.
• Complete required forms and documentation per policy and regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.
