Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. Working under an Occupational Therapist, you will help implement individualized plans of care and support patients in achieving functional outcomes.

This role focuses on assisting with treatment phases, documenting patient responses, and communicating with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff to ensure quality care. Strong interpersonal skills and accuracy in charting are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
