Mountain View Rehabilitation in Marysville, WA is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our in-house rehabilitation program. You will perform screenings, evaluations, and deliver skilled therapy to patients with physical functioning disorders, including wound care, under regulatory and clinical standards.

The role requires regular mobility tasks and collaboration with the care team, with discharge summaries prepared for each patient.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Assistant license is required.
• Open to OTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, developing appropriate care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Regular standing/walking and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring regulatory compliance.

MOUNTAIN VIEW REHABILITATION – MARYSVILLE, WA

Join our team and start making a difference! Mountain View Rehabilitation in Marysville, WA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
