Panorama Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation in Panorama City, CA, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. The role supports geriatric clients across post-acute and long-term care with a focus on rehab and recovery.

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will perform rehabilitative treatments, ADL retraining, and assistive device usage, aiming to enhance functional independence.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsabilidades

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT – FULL TIME

Panorama Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation in Panorama City, CA , is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a full time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time: Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay: $35 - $45 /hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
