Legend Oaks in Kyle, TX, seeks a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. The OTA will provide skilled treatments under an Occupational Therapist’s supervision for our geriatric post-acute population.

We welcome candidates with all levels of OTA experience and require a current state license/registration where applicable. This position supports a stable in-house therapy team within Legend Oaks facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapies, exercises, modalities, and devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervisor to adjust treatments as required.
• Report treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Legend Oaks in Kyle, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable
