Job summary

The Garrison Care Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Part Time Mobile Outpatient Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team. This post-acute care facility provides long-term and short-term care as well as geriatric outpatient services; the position involves community/home-visit based work.

You will work under Occupational Therapist supervision, delivering rehabilitative interventions, ADL retraining, and assistive-device procedures while assessing patient progress

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable
• Must have reliable transportation
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of devices, under OT supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising OT to adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising OT.

The Garrison Care Center in Lubbock, TX, is currently seeking a Part Time Mobile Outpatient Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team. We are a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. This is a community based/home-visit based position.

Key Responsibilities:
