Job summary

The Health Center at Research Park seeks a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program in Huntsville, AL. You will work under an OT supervisor to provide rehabilitative care to geriatric patients, focusing on ADLs, mobility, and functional recovery.

As part of a post-acute care team, you’ll assess progress, document outcomes, and adapt treatments to regulatory standards while supporting our CAPLICO values and a stable, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• State license/registration current and active where applicable.
• All levels of experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

The Health Center at Research Parkis a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities
