Job summary

Owyhee Health & Rehabilitation Center in Homedale, ID, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the in-house rehab program. The OTA will provide rehabilitative interventions under Occupational Therapist supervision, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and use of assistive devices for geriatric patients.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited OTA program and an active state license where applicable; all experience levels are welcome.

Qualifications

• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in collaboration with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - PRN

Owyhee Health & Rehabilitation Center in Homedale, ID, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Flexible schedule with work-life balance

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.


• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.


• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.


• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
