Job summary

Gardens of Euclid Beach in Cleveland, OH is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team. Under supervision of a licensed OT, you'll help residents improve independence, daily living skills, mobility, and overall quality of life.

This flexible PRN role offers competitive compensation, ongoing collaboration with an experienced interdisciplinary team, and scheduling that fits your availability.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio COTA license.
• License in good standing with applicable licensing boards and regulatory agencies.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Net Health experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Passion for helping residents achieve their highest level of independence.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized therapeutic interventions
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and functional activities
• Implementing treatment plans under the direction of the supervising OT
• Monitoring and reporting resident progress and response to treatment
• Educating residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques
• Completing timely and accurate documentation
• Communicating resident progress and concerns to the supervising OT
• Collaborating with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team
• Providing compassionate, resident-centered care
