Cedar Health & Rehabilitation Center in Cedar City, UT is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program.

Provide rehabilitative, skilled treatment under OT supervision, perform ADL retraining and therapeutic activities, and assess patient progress to adjust care as required. We value CAPLICO principles and support professional growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Must hold current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• We welcome candidates with all levels of experience.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - FULL TIME - CEDAR HEALTH & REHABILITATION CENTER – CEDAR CITY, UT

Cedar Health & Rehabilitation Center in Cedar City, UT is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a full time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Duties

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
