Job summary

Rivetus Rehabilitation invites an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at the Canton, MI facility. The OTA will provide treatments under the supervision of an OT, contribute to treatment planning, and participate in multi-disciplinary care conferences.

Documentation and adherence to clinical standards are essential. The role supports discharge planning and patient/family instruction, with opportunities to mentor students and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensure as required by the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy treatment according to the established treatment plan under supervision.
• Contributes to development and progression of patient treatment and modifies as necessary.
• Completes appropriate documentation and adheres to policies and current standards of practice.
• Coordinates with other disciplines for effective total patient care.
• Assists in discharge planning and provides patient/family instruction.
• Performs duties of OTA and supervises students/volunteers.

Contributes to the development, implementation of, and progression of patient treatment and modifies treatment as necessary. Participates in patent care conferences and program development.
