Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities in St. Louis, MO.

As part of a clinically driven team, you will deliver evidence-based therapy, develop rehab programs, and collaborate with residents, families, and care staff to optimize function and quality of life. Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Graduated from an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy recognized by the AOTA.
• NBCOT-OTR designation (if state mandate).
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Uses evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation services.
• Offers consultation and counseling to patients and families; supervise OTAs, temporary licensees, students and support staff per licensure.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
