Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group in Riverside, MO seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care facilities. You will provide evidence-based, skilled therapy under supervision of an Occupational Therapist to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

The position offers opportunities for mentorship, ongoing CEUs through CEU360, and licensure reimbursement as part of a supportive clinical culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.
• Licensed in Missouri or ability to obtain licensure in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Assesses and documents patient progress and communicates with supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families and caregivers related to physical disorders.
• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.

• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist.

• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.

• Assesses and document patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.

• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.

• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
