Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for SNF Sylvester to help patients regain independence and maximize daily living skills in a post-acute care setting.

Location is Sylvester, GA with a flexible schedule: full-time, part-time, or PRN. Compensation is up to $130,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, competitive benefits, and strong career growth opportunities in a collaborative, clinical-excellence focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current OT license in the state of practice.
• Experience in rehab, SNF, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Develop treatment plans that enhance independence and functional performance.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Address cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations impacting daily function.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers on functional strategies for success.
