Job summary

Pine Ridge Care Center in California is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents within a collaborative care team. The OT will assess neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions, plan individualized care, and implement therapy to improve function and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy as required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Current California OT license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers occupational therapy treatment for residents with neuromuscular or musculoskeletal concerns.
• Administers and interprets tests for muscle strength, ROM, coordination, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment per established plan of care and participates in an interdisciplinary team.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs and maintains confidentiality of records.
• Conducts home assessments as appropriate to support safe discharge.
