Job summary

Vale Healthcare Center in California is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and treat residents within a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• California OT license is current and active.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan and administer therapy for neuromuscular/musculoskeletal issues.
• Administer and interpret tests for strength, ROM, respiratory and circulatory function.
• Provide direct clinical treatment per established plan of care.
• Participate in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provide adaptive tools and treatments for patient needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Conduct home assessments to ensure safe discharge environments.
