Job summary

YAI is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a temporary assignment in New York. The role covers 3–6 months, beginning in late December or January, with a schedule spanning Tue/Fri, Wed admin/remote day, and Sat shifts.

*This is a temporary position to cover a team member on leave for an expected 3 - 6 month period beginning in late December or early January.*

Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Instruct/provide training on home therapeutic programs and/or assistive devices to eliminate or reduce areas of deficit
• Contemporaneous documentation using electronic health records
• Meet productivity expectation
• Participate in scheduled supervision, patient communication, coordination of care with interdisciplinary team to help improve thequality of life of the people we support

Minimum Qualification Requirements

including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g., lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.)

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of New York and has graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program approved by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Preferred Qualification Requirements

• A minimum of one year Occupational Therapy experience in a healthcare setting working with individuals with intellectual and developmental delays.
• Ability to work effectively with limited on-site supervision

Compensation:

$68,139 per year

Schedule:

• Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 9:30 AM - 7:00 AM
• Wednesdays: Admin/Remote day; flexible hours
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
