Job summary

Placentino Elementary School in Holliston, MA is seeking a Substitute Occupational Therapist (0.7 FTE) to support our K-2 students. You will collaborate with educators, families, and staff to deliver tailored OT services that support developmental skills and daily routines.

Starting immediately through December 23, 2026, licensed OT with Massachusetts Board of Registration license required; Master’s preferred; experience in public schools preferred. Instructional hours: 7:40 am–2:15 pm.

Job Description

Placentino Elementary School is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Substitute Occupational Therapist (0.7 FTE) to support our K-2 student community. In this temporary role, you will work closely with educators, families, and specialized staff to deliver tailored OT services that help students build essential developmental skills, navigate their daily school routines, and thrive academically and socially. Anticipated Duration: Immediate – December 23, 2026.

Qualifications:

• Hold appropriate license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professionals as an Occupational Therapist
• Master’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy preferred
• Experience in delivering occupational therapy services in the public school setting

Instructional hours:7:40 am-2:15 pm

Public School employees of Massachusetts are required to submit their fingerprints to a National Criminal Database check. The check will require you to pay a fee of $55 if you hold an Educator’s License, or $35 if you are an unlicensed employee. In addition to the national background check, a satisfactory Massachusetts Criminal Record Check (CORI) is required.
