Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities in St. Louis. The role focuses on evidence-based, skilled interventions to enhance residents’ recovery and quality of life.

The ideal candidate is licensed OT with AOTA-recognized degree; NBCOT OTR designation preferred. Open to all experience levels, with mentorship and ongoing professional development included.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in good standing.
• Degree in OT (B.S./M.A./M.S.) recognized by AOTA.
• NBCOT designation as OTR (if state mandates).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Delivers skilled therapy services to residents in SNF/LTC settings.
• Provides consultation to patients and families regarding physical disorders.
• Supervise OT Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as per licensure rules.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
