Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of the department director, you will evaluate patients, plan and implement OT interventions, and ensure high-quality care in accordance with hospital policies.

Eligible candidates with a Bachelor's in OT and WA license may receive a $3,000 sign-on bonus if they meet payment conditions; advanced degrees are preferred. Providence offers comprehensive benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy is required.
• Washington OT license required at hire.
• BLS certification (AHA) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments.
• Provide OT modalities and interventions per policies.
• Maintain high-quality patient care and document appropriately.

$3,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment. This is in addition to the benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

The Occupational Therapist functions under the general supervision of the rehabilitation leadership team and the department director. The Occupational Therapist assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients/clients and provides occupational therapy evaluations, modalities and treatments in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Washington Occupational Therapist License (at hire)
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (at hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Ph.D. Occupational Therapy
• 1 year specialized occupational therapy training or experience to meet a department need
