Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy Services team. You will evaluate residents, develop and implement OT plans, and document care in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with policy.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid OT license in the state, be ACOTE accredited graduate and NBCOT eligible or certified, and demonstrate initiative in patient care. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for part-time roles and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid OT license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited program and NBCOT eligibility/certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per the OT care plan.
• Document all records timely and accurately.
• Follow policies and procedures related to OT scope of practice.
• Respond to priorities in patient care with sound judgment.
• Complete orientations, trainings, and certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Performs other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
