Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks an Occupational Therapist to assist patients in restoring functional abilities through comprehensive evaluation and therapy. The role involves assessing multiple body systems and coordinating with families and the care team to implement treatment plans.

Required are an OT degree, state license/NBCOT and CPR certification, plus strong communication and analytical skills. Driving evaluations may be included in duties; position offers competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• State license and NBCOT certification required.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in the restoration of occupational function through evaluation and treatment.
• Evaluate patients' occupational and functional status across musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary and integumentary systems.
• Collaborate with the treatment team and document patient status; support therapy goals and plan execution.
