Job summary

La Crescenta Healthcare Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. The OT will evaluate and treat patients, perform tests, and work within an interdisciplinary team to support residents.

We offer a sign-on bonus, PTO, and referral bonuses. California license is required; a degree in OT and at least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred, though new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by California.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure discharge to a safe environment.
