Job summary

Vale Healthcare Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our care team in California. The role provides direct patient treatment within a defined plan of care and participates in an interdisciplinary team to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
• Current California license to practice Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Assesses muscle strength, coordination, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge.
