Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Windom, MN to assess residents and design therapy treatments. The role focuses on helping clients regain daily living skills through evaluations and tailored interventions.

Responsibilities include documenting evaluations, establishing plans, and providing ongoing education to improve outcomes. Licensure in state(s) of practice and BLS within 60 days are required; NBCOT preferred for Sanford Health facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification preferred for Sanford Health facilities.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within first 60 days of employment.
• New grads in SD/IA may qualify with a temporary license.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments.
• Develop realistic therapy goals and administer programs.
• Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for functional, cognitive or behavioral impairments.
• Document information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans.
• Provide education to enhance understanding and functional outcomes.
