Job summary

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist focused on seating and mobility to join our Assistive Technology Solutions team. You will evaluate clients, recommend seating and mobility solutions, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to secure funding and ensure proper fitting and follow-up.

Experience in seating and mobility is preferred; travel is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy or COTA with NBCOT certification.
• Assistive Technology Professional certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs regularly.
• Lift and transfer clients up to 250 lbs.
• Ability to push large wheelchairs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate individuals with complex seating, positioning, and mobility needs.
• Recommend equipment solutions to maximize independence and safety.
• Coordinate with physicians and therapists; secure funding and authorizations.
• Order, track, deliver, and fit equipment; provide follow-up adjustments.
