Job summary

Theracare INC in Plainfield School Systems seeks a dedicated Part-time Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services approximately 8 hours per week, collaborating with school staff to support students' functional goals within the classroom, gym, and related facilities. Required: B.S.

or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy, current state license, NBCOT registration, and ideally one year of rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current state license/certification
• Current registration with NBCOT
• Prefer minimum one year experience in rehabilitation
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide therapy services in facilities and settings including SNF, outpatient, long-term care or home health care
• Demonstrate competency in applying therapy principles, methods, and equipment
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services part-time (~8 hours/week) within Plainfield School Systems
• Collaborate with school staff to support student functional goals
• Adapt activities to settings including school facilities and external care locations
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and therapy guidelines

Qualifications
