Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to support students across multiple campuses in the Houston area. You will manage a primarily consultative and direct service caseload (≈70 students, 30–40 direct) with a weekday schedule typical for schools.

You will conduct evaluations, participate in ARD meetings, and maintain thorough documentation using SHARES and Onward, including Excel-based IEP logs.

Qualifications

As a full-time Occupational Therapist, you'll serve a diverse caseload of students aged 3-21, ensuring access to essential school-based therapy. This rewarding contract role balances your commitment to student success with a structured workweek-37.5 hours, Monday through Friday-starting August 11, 2026, and running through May 26, 2027.

What you'll bring:

• Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Recent, relevant experience in school settings or strong pediatric background
• Confidence handling a primarily consultative caseload (approx. 70 students, with 30-40 direct service)
• Strong documentation skills (SHARES and Onward software; Excel IEP log maintenance)
• Ability to work independently - no COTA support provided
• Reliable transportation for travel within your assigned zone (6-7 schools, locations based on your ZIP code)
• Clear background check and state fingerprinting (district requirement)

Key responsibilities:
