Soliant is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide short-term, full-time coverage for a maternity leave in a school-based environment near Prairie View, TX. You will deliver individualized services, coordinate with educators and families, and ensure continuity of care for students during the temporary assignment.

Texas OT licensure is required; prior experience in pediatric or school settings is highly preferred.

Job Description

Step into a meaningful contract role as a dedicated Occupational Therapist supporting students for a couple of months while covering a maternity leave. This assignment offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact in a school-based environment near Prairie View, TX. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential, providing vital therapy and support during this temporary period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students, addressing their educational and developmental needs.
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy goals, evaluating progress and adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop strategies that promote student participation and independence in the school setting.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare documentation as required by district and state guidelines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input for IEP (Individualized Education Program) development.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Texas.
