Qualifications

• Must have Bachelors or Masters in occupational therapy from a school accredited by AOTA
• Licensed to practice in Massachusetts
• Experience with children and adolescents in school settings
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff and families
• Familiarity with school-based OT regulations and Medicaid records management

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in assessment, planning, monitoring, and reevaluation of students in need of services
• Conduct assessments and share findings with staff and families for effective interventions
• Write IEP goals, accommodations, and progress reports; maintain service logs and Medicaid records
• Travel to multiple schools daily for services and meetings
• Monitor educational programs and recommend changes as needed
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions; participate in committees
• Complete records promptly and protect student confidentiality
• Provide staff training on OT-related needs
• Supervise clinical aspects as required by national associations
