Job summary

Bond Health is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide school-based evaluation and therapy services to students. You will evaluate and treat students to improve independence and participation in educational activities, while collaborating with families, teachers, and an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.

You will address fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, ADLs, and functional skills, maintain documentation, attend meetings, and supervise

Qualifications

• Current New York State Occupational Therapist License required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Fingerprint clearance (NYSED and DOI) required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with IFSPs and IEPs.
• Address fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, activities of daily living (ADLs), and functional skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, evaluations, treatment records, and progress notes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, annual reviews, and parent consultations.
• Recommend referrals and adaptive equipment when appropriate.
• Assist with evaluations, intake, and ongoing student support.
• Maintain therapy equipment and supplies.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy students or Occupational Therapy Assistants when applicable.

About the Position
