Job summary

Bond Health in New York City is seeking a licensed occupational therapist to support students with disabilities. You will evaluate students, develop goals, and implement therapy plans aligned with IFSP/IEP guidelines in a school-based setting.

You will collaborate with parents, teachers, and a multidisciplinary team, document outcomes, and help with program development and supervision of OT students or assistants when needed.

Qualifications

  • Active NYS OT license required.
  • Ability to evaluate student progress and adjust therapy accordingly.
  • Excellent documentation and confidentiality.
  • Fingerprinting required by NYBOE/DOI.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students and develop OT treatment plans based on functional abilities and goals.
  • Provide therapy services per IFSP/IEP plans and agency guidelines.
  • Support development of daily living skills (feeding, dressing, hygiene, fine motor, sensory).
  • Monitor progress and document therapy outcomes and recommendations.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, evaluations, and case reviews.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in student care.
  • Refer students to additional clinical services when appropriate.
  • Design or adapt assistive devices when needed (splints, braces).
  • Maintain accurate documentation, attendance records, and therapy reports.
  • Assist with program development, staff training, and supervision of OT students or assistants when required.

Key Responsibilities
