Job summary

AB Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified Occupational Therapists for the 2026/2027 school year. The OT will work in school settings with pediatric populations, evaluating students and delivering therapy.

Caseloads vary by location, and recruiters will connect you to classrooms that best fit your experience and skillset. Contract through the 2026/2027 school year for 12 hours per week, aligned with the academic calendar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess or be eligible for an Ohio Occupational Therapist License.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
• BLS/CPR Cert.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
• Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands‑on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
• Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
• Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university
• Must possess or be eligible for an Occupational Therapist License in the State of Ohio.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
• BLS/CPR Cert.

Job Description:

• Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location - Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset
• Contract through the 2026/2027 school year – 12 hours per week.

• $588 - $612/Weekly
