Job summary

LADACIN Network is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based therapy team on a part-time basis in New Jersey. You will provide occupational therapy services to students with multiple disabilities through evaluation, consultation, and evidence-based interventions aligned with each IEP.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessments, planning and documenting meetings, and collaborating with teachers, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current New Jersey OT license and NBCOT certification.
• New Jersey Department of Education School OT certification.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Provide transdisciplinary evaluation, consultation, and implementation of therapy plans using evidence-based interventions for students.
• Conduct ongoing assessments, review outcomes, and modify therapeutic interventions to maximize student progress and assist in the development and refinement of IEP goals and objectives.
• Participate in planning, conducting, and documenting transdisciplinary meetings, including IEP meetings and family conferences.
• Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation for assigned students.
• Submit SEMI reports and document student interactions in the electronic system as required.
• Ensure IEP therapy hours are met for assigned students and maintain up-to-date schedules for service delivery.
• Train and support teachers, parents, and paraprofessionals in delegated therapeutic techniques and equipment use.
• Assist in the selection, adaptation, management, and maintenance of therapeutic equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and other members of the transdisciplinary team.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable professional, state licensing, and Agency standards.

Position Summary

LADACIN is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our school-based therapy team. This part-time position provides occupational therapy services to students with multiple physical and developmental disabilities in a collaborative transdisciplinary setting.

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for supporting students through evaluation, consultation, and evidence-based interventions while implementing occupational therapy goals and objectives outlined in each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current State of New Jersey Occupational Therapy license and certification by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• New Jersey Department of Education School Occupational Therapist certification.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with administrators, colleagues, school-based staff, students, parents, and community members.
• Must pass required criminal background clearances and screenings.
