Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello in Montebello, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our hospital-based therapy team. You will assess patients, design treatment plans, and provide coordinated care alongside an interdisciplinary group.

This full-time role requires a master’s degree or OTD and state OT licensure, with CPR/BLS certification. You will supervise assistants and document care per AH standards, contributing to our mission of patient-centered rehab.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required; only if obtained license on or after January 2007; or foreign equivalent.
• Two years' occupational therapy experience: Preferred
• Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
• CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AH policy: Required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required

Responsibilities

• Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
• Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervises assigned assistants.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
