Job summary

Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking an Occupational Therapist to plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions within an interdisciplinary team.

Required: Master’s degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, state OT licensure, and CPR/BLS certification. Preferred: two years of OT experience; strong documentation and discharge planning capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required (license date condition applies).
• State licensure in Occupational Therapy required.
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

• Completes evaluations to guide treatment plans and set patient-specific goals.
• Provides therapy interventions using established protocols and discharge planning.
• Maintains comprehensive clinical documentation within deadlines.
• Supervises assigned assistants and performs other duties as needed.
