Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation in Boston is seeking an Occupational Therapist for per diem work. You will assess patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapists to support functional outcomes.

The role requires a Master's in Occupational Therapy, state Licensure, and BLS; prior experience in residential or skilled nursing settings is preferred.

Formación

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• State license as Occupational Therapist is required.
• BLS certification is preferred.
• 0-1 year of occupational therapy experience is preferred.
• Experience in residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct assessments of patients' physical, mental, and developmental abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed.
• Provide education to patients and families about therapeutic activities and exercises they can do at home.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and physical therapists to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes.
• Attend staff meetings and continuing education to stay current with best practices.
