Job summary

Sandstone Estates in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team in a skilled nursing setting. The OT will evaluate residents, develop individualized plans, and provide interventions to enhance daily living skills and mobility.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited OT degree, NBCOT certification, and an active Arizona OT license, with strong communication and teamwork to support resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification is required.
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, mobility, and independence.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and therapy team members.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in accordance with regulations.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
