Job summary

Sandstone of Tucson is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting.

We offer both full-time and PRN positions with flexible scheduling in a resident-centered environment, focused on restoring function and independence for our residents. You’ll collaborate with nursing and therapy staff and document progress per regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification completed.
• Active Arizona OT license.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, mobility, and independence.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and therapy team members.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in accordance with regulations.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.

Position Details:

• Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available

• Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care setting

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
