Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services seeks a Credentialed Occupational Therapist to plan and administer a rehabilitation program for patients recovering from illness or injury. You will review referrals and evaluate records, plan treatment, and coordinate with physicians as part of a rehab team.

Licensed OT in the practicing state is required; prior OT experience is preferred. The role involves patient handling, local travel, and adherence to policies including infection control.

Qualifications

• Credentialed graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and licensed in the state where practicing.
• Prior experience in occupational therapy preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, with frequent lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Travel within a local area as needed for patient treatment.
• Modality certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate physician referrals and patient records to determine OT treatment.
• Plan and prepare written treatment program based on evaluation of patient data.
• Confer with physicians and other health practitioners to coordinate therapy and care.
• Record patient treatment, response and progress.
• Maintain documentation consistent with third party reimbursement.
• Assist in department policies, procedures, and budget planning.

Education

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in practicing state

Prior occupational therapy experience preferred
