Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.

• Must have experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Screen, examine and evaluate residents to establish diagnosis and plan care.
• Develop goals and methods in collaboration with residents and caregivers; document care.
• Supervise assistants, temporary licensees, students and support staff.
• Attend care conferences and contribute to resident care teams.
• Consult with other disciplines to address residents' needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a caring environment.
• Maintain clinical programming and efficiency standards.
