• Current, active license as Occupational Therapist, in good standing.
• CPR Certification, as required for license renewal.
• Experience in long term care preferred.
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret scientific information and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluations initiated per MD orders and facility guidelines.
• Develops treatment plans and provides treatment for best functional outcome.
• Educates staff and third party payers on intervention benefits.
• Completes documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and reports.
• Uses EMR and rehab systems; ensures safety of self and patients.
• Attends continuing education and provides in-service training.
• Directs assistants and rehab techs on patient care plans.
• Maintains state licensure, certification and credentialing.
• Submits billing, payroll and expense documentation timely.
