Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking an Occupational Therapist at METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER to assess and treat patients with physical, emotional, or developmental disabilities across the lifespan. You will plan, organize, and deliver OT services in alignment with our mission and standards, helping patients regain independence.

This role requires Ohio licensure, a relevant OT degree, and current BLS certification; travel to satellite locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or post-graduate certificate in Occupational Therapy from a school accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
• Holds an Occupational Therapist licensure in the State of Ohio
• Possess current BLS certification, or obtains within 90 days of hire
• Ability to travel to satellite locations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and conducts occupational therapy programs to help individuals overcome or adapt to physical, emotional, or developmental disabilities.
• Assesses how patient(s) function, and creatively structures work, leisure, and self-care activities to encourage independence.
