Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, or psychosocial deficits and to assess safety and independence in daily living activities.

You will design and modify plans of care, ensure compliance with Tennessee OT licensure, and maintain BLS certification. This PRN daytime role offers collaboration with a multidisciplinary rehab team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
• OT credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Occupational Therapy prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, or psychosocial deficits.
• Assess safety and effectiveness in performing independent living skills.
• Design plans of care specifying treatment types and frequencies.
• Modify plans continuously based on monitored patient progress.
