Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assist patients in restoring occupational function. The role involves evaluating patients’ musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems in relation to functional mobility and treatment planning.

Works with patient charts, families, and the care team to optimize outcomes. Licensed OT with state license and NBC OT registration, CPR within 90 days, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• State license and National Board Certification Occupational Therapy registration.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and treatment teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' occupational and functional status.
• Develop and implement therapy plans to restore function.
• Collaborate with patients, families and the treatment team; document progress.
