Job summary

FutureCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team in Maryland. You will assess, plan, and implement therapy to maximize residents' functional abilities, while ensuring compliance with facility guidelines and regulatory standards.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and an active Maryland OT license, with at least one year of rehab experience. We value supervision/mentoring in a long-term care setting and adherence to accreditation

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Maryland OT license/certification.
• Minimum of one year experience in rehabilitation.
• Supervision/training in long-term care or sub-acute settings preferred.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to assess resident needs and develop a comprehensive plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Review resident information and evaluate impact on assessment and treatment.
• Conduct and document functional assessment using standardized procedures.
• Provide home/vocational and equipment needs assessment as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with achievable goals.
• Document in resident's medical record after each treatment session.
